In a career spanning more than forty years, Melvyn Malkin uses his artistic experience in architecture, ceramics and printmaking to produce drawings of space and light in striking color.

Using chalk and oil pastel, these abstract landscape images take on a life of their own. Spatial tension, a sense of light and richly enhanced color convey a joyous art.

The graphite drawings show his dedicated history in this medium, fresh, rich and spontaneous

The clay mural, a result of years spent doing ceramics, has the unique quality of a technique developed to allow maximum flexibility in this medium. Each work is individually designed, produced and installed by appointment.
